QRace Videogame – Privacy Policy
Summary for parents
- We do not collect any personal data from your child or from you through the app.
- No accounts, no chat, no ads, no tracking. The app does not use advertising identifiers and has no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
- The camera is used only to read the QR code printed on QRace cards. This happens entirely on the device. No photos or videos are taken, stored or sent anywhere.
- Game progress (unlocked cars, garage, scores) is stored only on the device and is deleted when the app is uninstalled.
- Notifications are optional reminders generated on the device. You can turn them off at any time in the device settings.

Kidz World is the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with the app, as described in this policy.
2. Who the app is for
QRace Videogame is a racing game designed for children (mainly ages 6 to 12) who own QRace collectible cards or QRace candy products with a card. It is intended to be used with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or guardian.
3. What data the app uses, and what it does not

We do not collect or process: names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, dates of birth, photos, voice recordings, precise or approximate location, contacts, advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), device identifiers, purchase history, or any persistent identifier used to track users.
The app has no user accounts, login, chat, messaging, social features, user-generated content sharing, leaderboards with personal data, or advertising. The app has no in-app purchases.
4. Third parties
- No third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs are included in the app.
- The app is built with the Unity game engine. Unity analytics and diagnostics services are disabled in this app, so no data is sent to Unity through it.
- App stores. When you download the app, Google (Google Play) or Apple (App Store) process data about the download under their own privacy policies. Kidz World does not receive personal data from them that identifies your child. We may receive aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example, number of installs or crash counts provided by the platform) that do not identify anyone.
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone, because we do not collect it.
5. Children's privacy
We designed the app so that it does not collect personal information from children.
- European Union / Spain (GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, LOPDGDD). In Spain, a child under 14 cannot consent to the processing of their personal data; consent must be given by a parent or legal guardian (other EU countries set this age between 13 and 16). Because the app does not collect personal data, no consent is requested. If this ever changes, we will obtain verifiable consent from a parent or guardian first and update this policy.
- United States (COPPA). We do not collect "personal information" from children under 13 as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, including persistent identifiers. We do not allow children to make personal information publicly available.
- Store programs. The app is designed to meet the Google Play Families Policy and, where applicable, Apple's App Store Kids Category requirements.
If you believe your child has provided personal data to us (for example, by writing to our support email), contact us at info@kidz-world.es and we will delete it.
6. Links and purchases outside the app
Any link to a website, the Kidz World shop or social media, and any information for grown-ups, is placed behind a parental gate (a check that a child is unlikely to complete) so that children cannot leave the app or reach purchase opportunities without an adult. QRace cards and candy are physical products sold in shops; the app does not sell them.
7. Legal basis (GDPR)
The app does not process personal data about the user on our servers. The local, on-device use of the camera and game storage is necessary to provide the game features you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for device storage, Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive / Art. 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI, as strictly necessary for the service). If you contact us by email, we process your email address and message to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in handling your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and we keep it only as long as needed to resolve it and meet legal obligations.
8. Data retention and deletion
- Data on the device (progress, settings): kept until you delete the app or its data. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
- Emails you send us: kept only as long as needed to answer and for any legal retention period, then deleted.
9. Security
Because the camera image and game data never leave the device, the main protection is your device's own security. Any communication the app makes over the internet uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you (or your child through you) have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. As we hold no personal data from the app, in practice these requests will relate only to emails you have sent us. Write to info@kidz-world.es. We will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or the authority in your EU country of residence.
Parents in the United States may contact us at the same address to review or request deletion of any information about their child.

12. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect. If a change means we would start collecting personal data from children, we will ask for verifiable parental consent first.
